Mr. CHIU Simon

Mr. CHIU Simon 趙悅寧

Mr. Simon Chiu is a Chu Scholar through Dr. CW Chu sponsorship to graduate with B.S. in Pharmacy and subsequently with M.S. in Health Systems Pharmacy Management from Wayne State University.

He is currently a pharmacist in U.S. with over 30 years of experience devoted to cost effective, efficient and safe delivery of pharmaceuticals as well as direct clinical care practice to patients including medication education and counselling. He has extensive experience and has held various positions in community pharmacy, ambulatory home infusion pharmacy, long-term care and trauma hospital pharmacies. He is now practicing as a clinical pharmacist at St. Mary Mercy Hospital, a certified level II trauma and primary stroke center in Livonia Michigan.

His life experience can offer valuable insights to students with a keen interest to pursue a professional career in pharmaceutical and healthcare related fields. Special emphasis will be addressed in career development planning within meeting sessions. As an overseas mentor, he is also open to host CWC students who travel to the neighboring areas of Michigan. Particularly for those who may consider advance degree in U.S., he would be providing extra counsel accordingly.
